Dual Steering Stabilizers ???
Hello All....I have a questions I've been trying to research but have come up with little info....A local 4X4 shop suggested I get a dual steering stabilizer (they've got Skyjacker, Rancho, etc.) as I've done the leveling kit on my 2500 along with 285X75X17 tires (about 34"). My questions are:
1) First, is this really necessary or will I look like a "poser"? I don't mud the thing all the time but do notice a bit more "bumpsteer". Would I be better of to just replace the factory stabilizer with a beefier one ?
2) Will this cause my powersteering to work harder ? All I've found online says that a dual setup with larger tires will improve this and that but nothing mentions if your steering will have to work harder...
3) If anyone's got 'em, would love to hear your opinions...
Thanks in advance for your responses....

I don't know if you need a dual setup but you do need to upgrade. The stock stabilizer sucks for evenafactory part.
I upgraded to the TrailMaster 4 way on my Jeep. It's ovekill but would rather have it and not needit than need it and not have it. A good rancho stabilizer willprobaly work fine. If you off-road, get a dual setup.
Yes you PS pumpis working harder and could possibly overheat. An easyway to counteract the tires and stronger stabilizer is to simply have a PS fluid cooler installed. Same as an oil cooler or a transmission cooler.
