I have three Chrysler products in my driveway now and one GM.car So the Gm car will get way better fuel mileage then the Chrysler boy's ,so if I were looking at both of them that would mean I could afford the Escalad,I'd take the EscaladDid I spell that right. ?
Dude there's no comparison............Escalade is a pretty boys truck, which can serve no purpose at all, than driving around looking pretty...........................Now, the power wagon, Now that's a truck----which i had one...
Have you picked out a set of 26's yet? [8D]
Just curious, what kind of4wheeler do you have? I have a couple of sport quads. I'm going to the smokey mountains in April, likely without the truck or quads.I do plan to do some research into going down for a week, with the quads, later in the year. Keep checkin' in, even w/o a Dodge.

Nice bikes, I thought about the Honda but 1) I was able to get a better deal on the Yamaha and 2) A friend aready had one and I liked his. Also, we both used to have Yam. Banshees (he still has his) and we knew those inside and out (literally, total engine and suspension teardowns, both of us)and we shared info and parts all the time. I'm sure the same will happen with these as time goes by.
That big Kaw sounds nice but I've never really liked really heavy 4wheelers, and I don't have a need for a workhorse. My dad still has a '84 Honda Big Red 3wheeler that he still uses as a work horse occasionally.
295/70/17 ?? Stock is 285/70/17 correct?? Are you going for larger tires or want to go to a mud terrain? I have read from a few sources that 35X12.5X17mud tires will fit on stock wheels with a little rubbing a full lock on the control arms. Just some info. I haven't needed anything larger than a 33 yet.MI has a lot of sand and I've found A/T's work better at staying on top of the sand, M/T's want to dig in andbury themselves easier. But, that's me and the conditions I encounter most. I'll go to something larger sometime, probably, but then it won't fit in the garage, although I'm not parking in it right now anyways.
I've considered motor parts, but I just rev the motor. I would have to say that is the only negative, peak torque is at something like 4200 rpm, but when I climb hills this tends to not be an issue. The other thing is I think the trans. is the weak link in the drive train, but that comes from experience with the old transmissions, not the 545RFE, and I have not heard a lot of issues with it, not like the old four speed autos.
I recently read thatmanual hubs are available. Stock, the hubsdon't unlock so the axle and drive shaft always spin. Advantage: less wear, higher outer shaft strength and better mpg. Disadvantage: gotta lock the hubs.
