Default Pacesetter headers

jsut wondering if anyone has pacesetter headers on their 5.7L and if they like them, what kinda gains they saw, any fuel mileage difference. Really considering them right away here. You can pick a set up for like 600 bucks

I love mine!!! Make sure you get the ceramic coated. AirRam has a pretty good price on them. Fuel mileage went up maybe .5 mpg but it is hard to keep your foot out of it.

I wanted to get a set of these myself but I have a custom exhaust with no cats or mufflers with an x pipe dumped. Will these still work? I don't want to sound like a jackass when I go into a shop with a header and them tell me I need another exhaust.

Don't feel bad...I am on my fifth exhaust setup trying to find the perfect sound, but alas I have found it. The headers will make it louder but should be pretty easy to do with your current setup.

so your saying I wouldn't have to swap my exhaust out? I don't see where it would bolt up to in your picture, but I see where it does on stock. I guess my question is if I have the exhaust and the headers are longer than stock how will it bolt? It looks like the 4 goto 1 into a collector.

I am running 8.8's in the 1/8th...that is in the 13's but I need to get to a 1/4 mile track to verify. I have suprisingly very little in mod money spent. Most of the stuff I have got from group buys and that has saved a LOT of money. The cam I got for free and installed myself so that was basically a free mod. As far as HP I don't know. We finally had a dyno open up locally so I am heading there next week to compare my Bullydog and Superchips.
