STS turbo
I like the system and I plan to go that way. I hear the installation is REALLY wasy. like you a buddy and a 24 pack can do it at home. The tuning is the hard part though. Most guys i have talked too installed and tuned their own.
Send a PM or email to kenihemi. He's got the cheapest prices around on them. He's got his own turbo tech forum over on http://www.limitedmopars.org/forums.php
Im looking at one for my 05' and emailed them a while back to ask them about their system and this is what they said:
Ryan,
Charles and Matt just finished a truck like yours .
It is good to have them help , the tuning is done by a SMT6 and 4 more injectors and it is best to have Pro Dyno help with the tuning .
The install of the turbo is bolt on .
Please give me or Pro Dyno a call .
The warr. is good ,unless the falure is caused by the turbo.
We go from 263rwhp to 417rwhp.22hp per pound of boost .
It is a awsome system !
Thanks for your interest in your kits.
Charles @ Pro Dyno is a great fabricator and welder .
We have a great dealer in your area that can help you with the purchase
and installation of a kit that will fit your needs.
Please contact Pro Dyno , or feel free to contact me directly.
Thanks,

So basically it sounds like unless you really know how to tune it and know your stuff you really shouldn't mess with the tuning and let someone else take care of it. And if Im going to be spending 3grand on something like that I would wrather spend a little extra and have itworking to its fullest potential than attemp to tune it my self and blow the engine.

I'm confused why they said tuning is done by an smt6 and 4 more injectors. We replace all 8 factory injectors with large ones. We also email tunes around and can get you pretty far into a solid running truck right off the bat.
I drove down to Pro Dyno to help with the install and tune of an '05 Ram QC a couple months ago. Thecomponents were sent to the owner of the truck and he used the shop for the install and dyno.
I can tell you that the fuel kit from www.elcolasmotorsports.com that was used uses 8 larger injectors not 4 as stated above.
I also have an '05 Ram Hemi with a STS turbo that I have been running for almost two years now. If you need any help myself, hemifever, kenihemi and other turbo owners can help you out alot.
