Default Got Powerwire & Scoop today

I got my powerwire and scoop today for my 3.7. The shipping was great, I think I ordered it 4 or 5 days ago and got it today. It also came with the best instructions I've seen from any aftermarket part I've ever bought. As for performance I'm loving it so far even though I've only driven about 10 miles. I haven't really tested it by really getting on it hard, but in just normal driving the truck gets up to speed much easier. The throttle response is better and I don't have to get the truck as much pedal as before to get moving.

Well, I tell you some'ing, today the temp here is an amazing 53 degrees. I step on it and it responds. I was like, "it must be the puppie chow". I think is the cold weather, just like the power wire tells the pcm that the air is cooler, I guess.

Hey eltupac.....How does the flowmaster 40 sound on your truck when the RPMs get up there? Do you have any sound clips?

When the RPMS get the there, its crappy. Better than the 50 and the 40 delta single out. Low RPMS sounds nice. I dont know if extending the pipes out back would make it sound better. I know with the single out and the OEM pipe out the back, it sounded kinda like a fart can at high rpms.

So I was reading some old posts about the liberty intake install. Eltupac did you ever end up doing it or just leaving it alone? My main question is will the Powerwire still work if you do the Liberty intake mod because you have to mess with the sensors and all? I'm going to get the Airrad intake either when I get some money or for my Bday and I was going to do the Liberty pipe too unless it will mess up my powerwire.

Nah dude, never got to it. I just kinda gave up on the truck with the mods. Now is mostly maintenance. The lack of power, bad mpg and exhaust sound kinda dissapointed me for a while. Maybe in the future, but now I am eyeing another truck so who knows. For now I just like it the way it is.

ditto! i was planning on pipes, under-the-hood work, exterior mods... now, none of that! me and the paretals are peeping at some HEMI's right now. When my pops starts work back up next week (a very sure job making at least 62/hr maybe up to 93/hr depending on how fast hell be driving, traffic too) we're gonna go to those "Spring Sales" that dealers have. I really want an '06 but I'm thinking that my mom is gonna push for an '07... reason being that I have a subwoofer box that is fiberglass and fits the '06 QC and plus, the '06 HEMI would cost much less than the '07 HEMI, no? i dont wanna pay another $700 for installation of serious **** again like i did in my v6. installation included: subs, amp, box (and making the box), alarm (and purchase of it). i had to buy the amp and sub myself, well i didnt have to do it myself but found it cheaper to do so... i spent well over $1300 on the system and am very proud of it.

so when/if we get a HEMI, im just gonna look at the '06's first and QC of course. preferably black (i have a red v6), maybe even a blue, midnight blue. YELLOW! rumble bee! well either way, i want to get the HEMI in an '06 QC. MPG on the v6's is extraordinarily dissapointing.

i digress:
so the powerwire DID help my truck in performance and MPG but im gonna sell it after i get the HEMI. ill keep ya updated. oh, i wont leave the v6 posts, ill keep chatting with you guys since i (in the future) did have a v6.
