I placed my order last night for a new Ram 1500. I ordered an SLT regular cab 4x2 with an 8’ bed, Hemi engine with 5 speed auto transmission, electric blue pearl with medium slate gray interior, premium cloth seat package, fog lamps, trailer tow package and light package. Delivery date is about 3/25/07. I am already counting the days. Red

why the regular cab? I drove one and with the HEMI, its a handful. But I drove a 4x4 and cant imagine how much fun it would be to have a 2wd model, with an STS turbo, long tubes, and 3.92 gears on a set of M&H slicks. :-)

regular cabs are cool, just because u dont see them too much anymore, especially with the full bed

 

I really whish Chrysler gave the option of the 6sp with the hemi in a 1500, they don't, so in 06 I bought a 2500 Reg cab, with a 1500 and 2wd you performance will blow away any four door quad 4x4 and your mileage will be in the high 25 mpg once broken in.....Long live the reg cab 8 ft box truck....any thing else is pretending, Cheers on the new ride!!!
