Ram 1500 Hemi - ticking like a sewing machine
Hi All, First Post Here.
I havea 2004 Ram 1500 Hemi, Quadcab, Laramy
48000 KM
All oil changes done on time by the dealer
All Service intervals done on time by the dealer
-Ive noticed a "Ticking" noise , sounds like a sewing machine.
-Happens once its warmed Up/hot
-Doesnt happen when cold
-Happens When in Park or Drive
-Ticking speeds up as engine revv's up
-Coming from Engine / Tranny area, although its much more easily heard and prevelant from Underneath it seems, near the Tranny. ie if i listen close to the underside of the truck i can hear it louder than if i listen at the engine with the hood up.
I can not hear it from inside the truck,
any ideas ?
thanks in advance
