New To Dodge - Which One To Get? Boater
Hi All -
I am looking to get a quad cab dodge 1500. I went on dodges site but I would like to hear user opinions from you guys
With all the rebates the price should be great. I plan to lease most likely, as I like a new truck/car every 3 years or so and dont do any mods.
Shoud I go with the HEMI ST quad cab?
I will be towing a 25 foot center console occasionally... I am not sure how good these trucks are with rear slip and if I need to spend the extra cash for the 4x4?
I want a full loaded with leather, sunroof, etc.
Thanks

In that case, I don't see a need for a question. If you want QC, HEMI hands down.I went with a 4.7L cause I wanted a RC and it was more cost effective for me. I drove bothe QC HEMI and RC 4.7 and with the weight differences they felt like they handled the same to me. Depending on how big your boat is, there shouldn't be a problem at all with the HEMI.

CTD. I know it's not the 1500, but when I hear towing I instanly think CTD.

Honestly... A Quad Cab SLT 4x4 HEMI would be great! You should even be able to get away with a 4.7.
I suggest the HEMI, I just got one... great truck!

I don't have anything to tow...yet; looking at getting a travel trailer next year. At any rate, I've got just over three weeks and 1100 miles on 07 Hemi QC 4x4 and I LOVE THIS TRUCK!! The dealer has been great about resolving typical new vehicle crap (rear vibes caused by out-of-balance rear wheels). Good luck with your purchase and please post a pic of your new ride!
