how would one test the transmission control system to know exactly whats wrong and why its malfuntioning,on a 2003 5.7 a/t ram any help or ideas would be appreicated. the new module is expensive and i just want to be sure. symtoms are: staying in second gear and not up shifting, or in o/d and for no reason go into passing when im not expecting it, hard shifting between prnd almost wants to chirp tires. and again thank you for all and any help.
