does anyone know whereI could get a turbo charger for my 2006 Ram1500 Hemi?

 

STS is the only company I know of that has a turbo charging application for the hemi. There's actually a couple members on here that sell the turbo kit and the required upgrades. If you search you should be able to find them and pm them for more info.

 

check out www.krcperformance.com as well. I don't think there is anything for the 06's right now because of the tuning.

STS is Squires Turbo System...they have one of the best turbo systems for the hemi's and theres quite a few people that are running it and i will be running it once i get some money...damn college bills [:@]

Yeah they are pretty sweet with the remote mount setup and all. Keeps the turbo ALOT cooler than a traditional turbo. They are smog legal too

 

I'm a dealer for STS turbos. The basic will fit fine and the tuning should work if you disable the mds.

Don't know of any 06's with it on yet.

 

hi my name is Travis and i have a 05 ram 1500 short box regular cab with a 5.7 i have had about a year acording to the factory it is 345 hp . Trust me it flys i am a diesel mechanic and was toying with the idea of useing a banks kit on it but then i saw your forum what should i do it has a plastic intake and i was worryed about cracking it with to much boost any ideas and prices??

 

can a turbo be installed on my 2008 4.7l?

 

I've had mine up to around 14 psi without cracking. Not sure how much pressure it can take.
