one of my friends has been saving his money for a long time and has enough to buya brand new truck for his first vehicle. he was looking at fords since his whole family drives dodges and he wants something different but he saw a nightrunner the other day and fell in love with it, so i told him i would price one out for him on dodges website. the problem is that when i try to build a truck on there, you cant get a quad cab in sport trim, so i went ahead and priced out a single cab in sport trim, thinking that it would only be a few thousand more for the quad cab and would atleast give him a ballpark figure of what kind of price he would be looking at. but when i build a sport model truck it doesnt have a box to check for the nightrunner package. i remember building and pricing trucks before when i was bored and there was a box you could check for the nightrunner package, but now there is none. so does dodge not make a quad cab in sport trim for the 07 year models, and do they not make nightrunners anymore, or is it something you would just have to go to a dealership to order and wouldnt be available on their website? thanks for the help!

 

I could be wrong but I think Night Runners were just a 06 thing, like Daytona was 05.

 

I think you are correct but the good news is, there is a ton of nightrunners on the lots. When I got my 06 the dealership tried to get me to buy one. They said there was 10 within 500 miles of me.

 

so all he would have to do is go to a dealership around here and they could find one for him, and get it shipped down here?

 

Yep. They will transfer it.

If you get a good salesman like I did they will get you plenty of good photos so you know what you are getting.

 

i have a 06 quad cab sport hemi black , and isnt the only diff between nightrunners and mine the headlights and a decal?

 

The rims are black on a nightrunner too I think

 

I love my dodge and all but if he wanted a ford tell him to get a Lightning!!!!!! Those trucks are so amazing.

 

I was looking at the dealers the other day and I gotta say the sport ram 1500's with the Regular cab short bed in black are some of the best looking trucks i have seen in quite awhile. I've always been big on Regular cab short beds. I prefer manual tranny but since you can't get one with the hemi i guess i woudl have to eat that to get the hemi. O well the auto's seem to perform great too. I think the only thing that could make me want to get a quad cab or mega cabwould be the cummins diesel in a 2500 or 3500 srw. Other than that all I like are the regular cabs. And those sports really i was drooling over that truck. with the 20" aluminum wheels painted bumpers and grill man was it a sweet piece. I know some people like to diss on the 1500 since it's only a half ton but I have wondered if the cost of a diesel is worht it considering I woudl never even come close to using the potential it has.

 

the seats are different on a night runner and the steering wheel has a special decal on it. and i think there are other small differences in the interior also.

does anyone know if they are gonna make a special truck just for 07? the daytona was 05, and the nightrunner was 06, so are they gonna make a special edition truck for 07 as well?
