Nice looking truck. You planning on leveling it out or lifting it in the near future?

I would like to run 36" tires and am finding out that I need a lift kit of some sort. I like the looks of the 6" but dont like the $2000 price. If I can fit a 36" tire with just a leveling kit, I would, but I cant.

So, yes, I do plan on doing something to it. And whatever it is, will be done by summertime.

The whole problem is that a change was made to the 2006/2007 1500 2WD. There does not appear to be a leveling kit or a lift kit made for the 2006 megacab in 2wd. If anyone knows of any, please help the rest of us out!!

I had a 2" leveling kit on my truck before I lifted it. I gave them to a buddy of mine that has a 2006 1500 QC and he put them in his truck. The front spring buckets are the same on the 06 as they are on my 03. The control arms are completely different however, but they work the same. Just chiming in, hope this helps...

BTW: I would go with the 2.5" kit as the 2" kit still did not level out the truck 100%... the 2.5" should be perfect.

Gotta link? I've got some Springtech coils that are supposed to lift my truck 2", but I haven't put them on yet becasue I thought 2" might not be enough. I got 'em on ebay for like $130 shipped.
You install these yet. I want to put these on my truck ( my coils are sagged and now my bump stops are getting beat up)

Nope, and I'm glad that I haven't yet and don't know if I ever will. A week before I was gonna put em in,Dodge came out with the recall for the front wheel bearings or hubs or whatever, I don't remember all the details off the top of my head right now. Long story short, I didn't want them to not do any warranty or recall work because of the kit.

I still really want the front end to sit level with the back, but everywhere I turn, there's another kit, another opinion, and another outcome. Nothing is really conclusive yet and I'm not willing to gamble on it.
