Default dyno

Well finally got my truck on the dyno today in class and did a few different tests. First was a 0-60 full throttle, which was 6.11 seconds and a distance 0.06 miles. Next was a 1/4 sprint, final time of 15.01 @ 85.6 MPH...faster then what i ran last year and finally the power curve. I ended up with 259.4 HP at 5250 RPM and 280 ft.-lb torque at 4250 RPM.....thats lower then some numbers that i've seen, but i can live with that....overall i was pretty satisfied with the numbers i saw

0-60 times i think are fine, gotta figure it's a 5500lb truck (approx) with 259hp, power to weight ratio isn't that great for a quick 0-60 time, although that time is quicker then my brother's SSEi Bonneville when we raced 0-70 side by side and his car was atmy rear door at 70...anyways...only performance mod i have is a CAI

And once the track opens, you will be heading there and running a REAL quarter mile right? ;-)

259 at the wheels is low for a Hemi. Usually 17 and as high as 20 percent loss on a truck from the crank HP.

259 rwhp with 345fwhp = loss of 25%

what gear did you use for the run?

In all actuality, dyno numbers are only used for tuning, they have nothing to do with how fast you are. :-) Also, correction factor plays a role too.
