During hard acceleration (WOT) the engine rpms bounce back and forth at the 2-3 shift and finally kicks in to 3rd gear.

Are my shift points too close to the rev limit and that is why the truck revs back ad forth from shift to shift?

 

I am assuming that you have the Flashpaq for the hemi. Try differant settings for the WOT shift points... if you go to the Superchips forum,you are not the only person with these issues. Most of the answers go to "every vehicle is differant and has differant temperments". I want to say 6150 is some recommended shift point for both the 1-2 and 2-3 shift point.

 

my guess is that you are hitting the rev limiter. Try lowering your 2-3 shift point 50 rpm and raising your rev limit 50rpm and check it out.
