say if you bought a vehicle and really didnt like it at all and wasnt anything you expected. Is there a way to get out of the purchase when you have had it for a week?

After a week, I think you own it. Red

They may give you a better trade in value towards something on the lot.

I'm pretty sure it depends on the state you're in. I can tell you in Minnesota, it is 3 days (actually it's "the 3 following calendar days that the dealership is open for business - so let's say one of those days is a Sunday and they are closed, you actually get 4 days).

Anytime in that 3 day period by State law the dealer has to take the vehicle back no questions asked and cancel the transaction.

After that 3 days, you own it!

FL gives you 3 days. Only way out from there is lemon law....and we all know how well that works.

I know in CA when you drive it off the lot, it's yours! There is no returning a new vehicle including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Although if the dealer is nice, they may consider it if it's only been a day or so, but a week? Absolutely not..

Is it the Mega Cab you're not happy with?

The issue is that once it's titled it can no longer be considered "new"...so they might not take it back unless they call it a trade in.

I live in Ohio, and I know that when we leased our 2006 dakota they told us in the contract we had 3 days to return it if we were un-happy with it; with that being said I doubt you could return it, but check your contract for reference. Also, why dont you like the truck? Garret
