I think a 17" is the absolute smallest diameter rim you can put on a 3rd gen. Correct me if I'm wrong here...

heminate, how much of a lift did you do? How much, if any, performance loss did you experience? You have the exact look and tire size I want to go with!

I bought the truck last year already lifted, I think it is about a 5inch lift. It actuallyRides pretty nice. If you plan on Running 35" Tire I would recomend running 4:10 or 4:56 gears to help with the performance. You will experience power loss due to bigger tire Diameter but it can be made up with mods such as gear change, chip, etc.

I am guessing my 3.92 wont work...

Ya know, modifying this truck is ending up to be VERY expensive...

lift kit - 1500
tires - 1500
wheels - 1000
winch - 1000
gears - 1000

I am looking at 6000 so far, and the windows aint even tinted yet!

:-(

3:92 would be the minimum I'd suggest, That's what I'm running right now untill the next big pay day I'm going with 4:56
I hear ya, I lucked out and bought mine with half the $hit on it and it's still costing me a fortune. Gotta love it!

the money isnt what bothers me, its knowing that nothing on this truck is going to cost under 1000! I am going to email you, got some questions I dont think the board needs to know.
