First of all yahoooo...Finally got my truck I've wanted for years! 2006 2500 Laramie Diesel.
I'm looking to get some 35 tires, but not sure how they'll fit. I'm specifically looking at MT Baja ATZ 315 / 70 / 17 (35 inch). Does anyone know if they will rub without a lift? Could I use a leveling kit to prevent rubbing? Lastly, would I have room to put on Chains (mud and snow) in the front if I needed to?
Happy buyer!

This question gets asked about once a week...
I say 33's are about the tallest in a 2500 Diesel 4x4 with no rubbing. 4x2 doubtful.
If you seriously off-road, 33'swill probably give yousome rubbing. My buddy has them on his '04 2500 QC LWB CTD 4x4.
Some people say 35's will fit stock. I say no. With tire chains on all 4 wheels, (like with a snow plow)definitely no- even with a 2" lift, based on my Power Wagon with 34's. The Power Wagon is 1.8 inches taller in the front over the standard 4x4. Chains on rear only is maybeOK with 33's-35's,Cables would be better.
