It shouldn't come on at all. If it does....since it looks like you're still under warranty....take it to the dealer to have it checked out. Mine came on twice during this past week. At the first dealer, they got a code indicating a small leak in the emissions control system. They did a smoke check, but could find nothing....cleared the code and told me that I had probably failed to tighten the gas cap sufficiently. It came on again in about 200 miles...same code...smoke test again revealed no leak. But...I had a young, pretty sharp tech who stayed with it and discovered that the "quick connect" in the vent tube in the gas filler, although pressed together, was not connected all the way.Problem solved.

one time and that was because i was an idiot and forgot to reconect my o2 sensor after pulling my air expander and replacing it with a intake tube. took me about 2 seconds to figure out what i had done.

The question you should be asking is, "My engine light came on. I went to Autozone(or whatever parts store you have near you) and rented a diagnostics computer. It spit out these codes. What do they mean?" Or just go to the dealer...
