Default Structural difference between 2500 and 3500?

What is the structural difference between 2500 and 3500 Diesel? I Have a 2500 Cummins Quadcab 2005 and is wondering what might differ between my Ram and the 3500. Do they have the same chassis frame, the same drivetrain and differentials? How about the suspension? Might that be the only difference?
Sorry if this has been covered many times, but I'm a newbe here and plead ignorance.

The body and frame and axels are the same on the 2500 and 3500.

Gearing, size of axles ( dual rear wheals ) and springs, shocks will not be the same.

In most case's, all that seperates a 2500 from a 3500 is the springs and optional axle ratios.
