it wont work with the iphone coz i tried to hook up my friend's iphone and it said that it is not supposed to work with such add on.

There was actualy a mention of the Iphone/Ipod Touch on the WKJEEP forum with this adaptor. They said it's a software issue that i guess Apple is fixing. But you have to read the article.
