Im covered to 70k Still....My 2002 only has 35k on it....so im covered to 12/30/2009 or 70k....so i got a lil while to worry about it...

Honestly, if the truck feels strong, i wont go with the warranty..I dont beat my truck or even go bother "hooking" it up, i have other cars for that. Personally I wont go with the warranty....

Oh, so your vehicle is practically new. So you have nothing to worry about. But, out of curiosity, why them, as opposed to others?

 

Well i spoke to the dealership about the cost of the extended warranty, i stated that it would cost approximately $2200.00. For 2 years and 36K miles? Any opinions on this cost?

 

$2200.00 for a 2 year warranty? OUCHY. Save your money. Bad investment IMO. Most repairs can be made for far less than that.

 

Well on my 2nd Gen I purchased a Vehicle One Extended warranty and couldnt have been happier. I think it cost me around $1500 Dollars for 4 years 48000. They allow you to take it to preety much anywhere as long as they are established or reputable. I always took the truck to the local Dodge dealer and never heard a peep from the dealer or warranty company. They did a transmission, evaporator, both window switches, multifunction switch, umm and a list of other things. The only thing they had as far as disclaimers had to do with offroading as a primary purpose for the vehicle, snow plowing, or otherwise commercial use. But I had a great experience with them and my 01 had 64000 miles on it in 04 when I purchased it. I thought it was a great investment- I definitly got my moneys worth.
