Just got my windows tinted to match the back only cost 80 buck's.

 

When you say to match the back, did your Ram come with the back two doors tinted like mine? That's not too bad for the very back window and two doors. I know a lot of areas, like Atlanta, that charged over twice what we did. When we did a four door car back in the day it was $125, people would drive two hours to save $125.00 cause they were charging well over 200.00 in atlanta, and that was back in 97-98, so gas really wasnt that expensive back then.

Either way it's not a bad deal. I want to put a front strip on my truck, across the top 8" of the windshield or so, but they put that cluster of dots above the rear view mirror and it is impossible to make those look good. Maybe tint it and then put some kind of vinyl writing across the outside.

 

I had mine done on saturday, 2 fronts were $75 and I got them at 20%. Its close to a match on the rears, 5% would have been better but after having that on 5 cars, its better to go a little lighter. Makes seeing things like curbs, kids, people at night easier. :-)

 

That sounds about right for the price....Tint is cheap...Make sure you use GILLA name brand tint, it wont turn purple, i refuse to use other name brands..

Take off ur old tint with a razor blades and heat gun (its a pain). Get a spray bottle, put a lil soap mixed with water and your good to go. Just got to make sure you get the bubbles and water out with the block and heat gun....

 

I did mine myself and it was piece of cake, just take your time and have a friend to help. A hairdryer helps too. I have 5% on my windows and its illegal here in michigan but they havent bothered me yet. good luck

The rear three on my quad cab came tinted from the factory. Anyone know what % the factory tint is? I'd like to get the front doors done to match.

its not a perfectly round number its like 22.6% or something odd like that, if you get 20% you won't be able to tell the difference, they will look exactly the same.
