new truck or lift?
after getting stuck in the desert multiple times
im thinking of trading in my 03 dodge ram quad cab
for a smaller 4x4 truck such as a ranger, dakota, or tacoma.
or my second option
is lifting my current truck with a 4-6 inch lift and 35 inch tires.
and adding dual exhaust
heres a link with the lift i am looking at,

any opinions?

i think im pretty much stuck with th truck i have , rather then getting a new one
ill have to work with this truck. the only problem is the v6 and the heavy 35' tires.
well see what happens O_O

Wait and see first. Dont change out the gears or add any power adding bolt ons yet. Just do your lift, and add your tires, get the speedometer/odometer calibrated at your dealer, and try it all out. You might not be disapointed.
You can do a lift for cheap. Blocks in the rear, say 3", like $25. Spacers in the front, $80-100. A shop can install these, but its pretty easy work. Once you add the 35-inchers, your going to gain even more lift. You can retain your stock shocks and all with no more then 3" of lift. Overall with the tires you'll probablly be sitting 5" higher, for very little money. I did my 06 dakota for about $100 for the lift, then I bought 32" tires (stock are like 30)
Looks great, rides great.
