Here is the update of the day.....After paying $20 for the 2006 Ram Truck Service Manuel, downloading all 9000+ pages of the pdf and spending 5+ hours reading it, I have decided to Lemon Law my truck....The service department (actually the service manager) is giving me the run around and making things up. Wish me luck!!!!!!

I have a 2005 and I just had my trucks rad replaced with alum. rad and some other engine upgrades and stuff... When I have my heater on (it's winter here) there's a weird air leaking sound coming from inside my dash, it's really annoying and I know it wasn't there before.

 

I know it took a while but here is the update. The Daimler Chrysler engineer came down last Monday (4-16-07) and verified that the problem was the blend air door on the driver side. The service department went ahead and changed the door based on the recommendation of the engineer. When I picked up the truck on Saturday and test drove it the noise was still there. I called my representative of Daimler Chrysler and we came to the agreement of taking in the truck one more time for a second chance before I take the next step in Lemon Law process. So I took the truck in yesterday to the service department and the service manager confirmed the problem still is present and I waiting for a phone call from my Daimler Chrysler rep. I will post the next update as soon….

 

My Son had the same problem on his 06 Quad. They had to re-seal the windshield on that side. Fixed the problem.

 

hm... ill look at my 07 today and see if i hear it. ill let you know about my truck. i think i may have heard it yesterday. but ill check it too in your defense

 

Shame you paid for it, you could've gotten it for free.
