Hello everyone, I have read into alot of the previous posts and haven't spotted anything that feels related to what i am experiencing...........I have a 2004 1500 SLT 4x4 w/The HEMI and i bought it used with 16,300 miles on it.......I still have like four months of bumper to bumper on it and transfered the 7/70 to my name.I am alittle nervous when it comes to the TRANS. When i take off from a light or something, just cruisin' speeds, it shifts fine but sometimes you can feel a "Thud" like it is slippin a bit...or is that what slippin feels like? It doesn't do it all the time and i am not a major gearhead yet so i figured ya'll would know about it..........also when i get on it to merge into traffic or what not I Put the pedal down but there is a hesitation.......the engine will rev up to like 5600....hesitate as if it don't know what it wants to do......thendrop into gear.......being that i am new to Dodge i don't know if this is the beginning of a problem or not......Ya'll seem to be where the information is so what do ya think?

 

Sounds like a tranny problem. There was a rash of solenoid problems with some of the 2004/05's a while back. Yours may be showing up now. Since you still have some warranty left, take it to a GOOD dealer and have them ride with you. If it hasn't set any codes yet, it could be just the start of it. Don't wait long to get it checked out
