Why not take it back where you purchased it and make an exchange?

In extreme cold weather it may be too thick to lubricate properly. If you are in a warm climate I wouldnt worry about it, but if you are in Michigan or Minnisota I would take the hit and change it again. You can always save the oil for your lawn mower, snow blower,4 wheeler etc.

Since it's 5w-50...not 20W-50.....and it's synthetic, I probably wouldn't worry too much about it.

Yup, I agree. Synthetic is far more stable in terms of viscosity than dino oil. Try it, if it seems to be running fine, leave it in until the next change.

Is the extra o say 25 bux to change it really worth the risk of causing problems? Personal opinion change it so that you have piece of mind
