Default Lowering kits

im getting the 2/4 drop from slammed one by the end of this week ( if tax return check comes in) and i am curious as to who else has there 1500 or 2500 lowered.

what shocks did you use? flip kit or drop leaf springs?

i lowered my 1500 with a McGaughy's 2/4 drop...the kit i got uses the factory shocks (buy new shocks, dont use factory with lowering kit) and a rear flip kit. the shocks i'm looking at buying when i get some money are the Belltech nitro drop (i think thats what they called).....the kit was pretty easy to do, i did it in my driveway on a friday in a matter of a couple hours...good luck and post some pics when it's done

same kit im looking at gettin with a flip kit. yea the shocks are either those or some doestech ones as they are supposed to be extremly stiff.. i do mostly highway and high speed driving and want a lot firmer ride so its more stable. any suggestions on shocks guys?

have you had a chance to get those bell tech shocks? if so how did they work out? i have a 04 quad with a 2/4 drop. my rear shocks are bottomed out and i need something to replace them quick... anyone with any suggestions?

RH, I take it you came this conclusion all on your own? Assuming you have never seen a hauler for race cars, show rides or maybe a badass boat.
