whys that? in the 07 HEMI's you cant hear the difference in the switch from 4 to 8 or 8 to 4. thats why im getting exhaust on mine. the dealer (which is a dealer i would highly recommend to anybody wnating a dodge, mazda, or pontiac b/c of their expertise in cars) told me how they fixed that with the 07 from the 06.
Man that is great news! I had a 06 Charger w/ Hemi and it sounded like sh#t when I put a new exhaust!! I am definitely gonna change mine out now! Thanks for that tidbit!!
No prob. Just passing on what the dealer told me!

The gas pedal is'nt very touchy. You have to get into it more. This was done for traction in mud and snow. I found out it really does help taking off from a stop in snow. If you want a more performance feel then use the tow mode. I do all the time on and off the highway. It changes the shift points. I have'nt notice too much of a MPG difference. I also found out than driving the truck easy or driving the truck more aggressively doesnt effect MPG that much in the 2500/3500 HD. So just put the gass pedal down in tow mode and Ithink you will really like it. [:@]

Im not really sure what your saying, but if your saying that you cant tell the difference in sound when the MDS kicks in then you must have something different than mine, because when mine does it you can really hear it and it sounds terrible. I didnt notice it at all with the stock exhaust on it but when I put duals on it it was totally noticeable.

I just bought my 07 and put on a Flowmaster 40. You can definitely here the change in sound when the MDS kicks in. You can either get used to it, or drive in tow/haul or OD off. I have been getting used to it. Just to get that little bit of extra mpg. I only have about 700 miles on it, I'm getting about 11.9mpg right now. Hope it gets better as it breaks in.

2500 Does not have the MDS.. Put what ever exhaust you want on it, and listen to it gorwl...

Hemiman07, with those big tires, and that lift, don't expect it to get much better than that. I got 12.05mpg (hand calculated) on my last tank, and my truck just clicked over 70k miles...
