Default Seat belt dinger

Just wondering if anybody has had any luck disabling the seat belt buzzer in their trucks. I have tried to follow the instructions in the owners manual but haven't had any luck. Any tips or tricks for this other than taking it to the dealership? I dont know if it matters but i have an 04 2500 QC Hemi

If i remember right, get in truck, close door, click in seatbelt, turn to run (not start). unbuckle and buckle back in 3? times and it will ding. I did this months ago, just not sure if this is the exact procedure. (and yes I always wear my belt, but that ding is annoying when you're doing short maneuvers with a trailer). The light will still be on, but the ding will be gone.

I had mine disabled at the dealership the day I bought it.. I live at my Havasu house in the summer, and when im launching the boat, it would drive me nuts! My old F150 used to ding and I had to find the wire and rip it out because there was no way to turn it off otherwise, or so I was told.
