I saw something in the Four Wheel Parts Wholesalers catalog.
the company that had body lifts had them in 2 and 3" sizes.
Performance Products? I think was the name.

Body lift = always BAD idea.

If you can get the lift out of the suspension then you should save your money, body lifts are just bad news.

I did a 2" body lift on an '87 Ranger. It was a royal pain in the butt. But I needed a4inch suspension lift plus the body lift just to fit 31" tall tires... I didn't like the drive shaft angles a 6" suspension lift gave.

Two good things about them. They are cheap, and they don't affect the driveline angles.

The Bad list is much longer.
They leave gaps between bumpers and body.
Usuallythe radiator needs relocation, or the hoses aren't long enough, or the fan doesn't line up with the shroud, etc.
The wiring harness from engine to body usually gets pulled and needs to get slack put back in.
The Steering shaft needs lengthening. This is usually not an easy task.
The parking brake cable usually needs to be dropped with a bracket.
Your floor shift (trans and/or t-case) will be lower by the lenght of the body lift.
that's all I can think of now, but I'm sure there were other problems.

Mainly the problems are it causes yucky looking gaps alot of the time, makes it so some stuff doesnt fit such as certain kinds of intakes and other things that mount on the body, I have seen a few trucks where after the body lift was installed it tweaked the body so it was uneven or crooked and I have seen a few, not many but a few where the body mounts broke and the cab or bed pretty much fell off the truck. It weakens the body mounts when you do stuff like this.

Some times on body lifts their is annoying sway when you take a turn somewhat fast.

Body lifts move your CG (center of gravity) up off the frame, not a good idea, I know they sell them and they are cheap, but, not w/o draw backs.
