Any late model Dodge Parts Yards?
Hi all,
If you read the Wanted section you can see that someone broke the cowl on my truck over at the shop. I wasn't pointing fingers and the owner and I go way back and so I don't want to be an @ss for a few bucks. He's bro'd me on quite a few things over the years, even a time when he replaced a windshield of mine for FREE because he felt mine on an other car was just not nice enough to go with the new paint job.
I'm willing to pay out of my pocket to get this small piece. THIS ITEM IS THE PLASTIC PIECE WHERE THE WINDSHIELD AND THE HOOD COME TOGETHER. IT'S THE COWL, THE WINDSHIELD WIPER SITS DIRECTLY ON TOP, I'M LOOKING FOR THE DRIVER'S SIDE COWL.
Any info you guys can provide would be great...

No offense but now I have to laugh. When you have a hood that is 5 feet in the air and your trying to sand and rub it you have to put your hands somewhere. You didn't seem to mind him putting his hand in the middle of the hood (made me sick to look at) but then he ended up breaking your cowl. I'm sorry but having worked in a body shop that routinley worked on high end cars, benz, jag, rolls royce, porsche, ferarri. (they are doing a $250,000 porsche 24 hour of lemans racecar right now) You learn to take things apart and do them right .The hood should have been on a bench, sanded and rubbed before the grill was put on and before it was back on the truck. But thats just my opinion.
HemiMan,
I mean no disrespect when I say this but I would appreciate it if you would just stay off of my threads. All you do is bring negative comments to them without knowing all of the facts. Although I may be new to DodgeForums.com I'm not new to the automotive community and could certainly hold my own when it comes to the Porsche world. My Dodge truck is basically my shop-truck and I figured I would modify it a bit while making friends here.
It's obvious that you're not the typical member here, in my eyes you come off as a thread-troll waiting for an opportunity to rain on someone's parade.
Just so you know since you didn't care to ask, the cowl was broken before the new hood even arrived.
Once again I'd appreciate it if you'd keep off my threads since it’s obvious you have nothing positive to say.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation with my request.
