Steering wheel noise?
Have a new 2007 Ram 1500 SXT (with cruise control) and have a crackling/rattling noise in the steering wheel when I turn it to the left. Think stiff plastic cracking sound.
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this? It's definitely in the wheel itself. No problems from it, just trying to think of what it could be????

I have a similar noise but it is with my Suzuki SUV. They told me it was from the cruise control parts in the steering wheel. Could it be the same on a ram? I do not hear any noise with my new ram. Red

that's what I was thinking, because of the extra wires/parts. No biggie. Next time I take it in for service, I'll mention it.
