I'm not sure on the 8 inch but I have the 9.25 which is what I THINK you have as well and I have an Auburn and absolutely love it. Check out www.3rdstrike.biz, they have them for the best prices around.

Auburnmakes a clutch pack style limited slip for your rear 9.25 but no locker to my knowledge.
There is nothing available for the front 8" diff.
Detroit makes an auto locker for the 9.25 and so does Powertrax. Detroit also makes a gear style limited slip for the 9.25.
There is no selectable locker available for the 9.25.

ARB should be releasing a selectable locker for the 9.25 soon. I think he meant LSD and not locker...I could be wrong though.

Is the front diff an 8 or 8 1/4? I thought it was an 8, but when I went to get prices on gears and installs everybody was saying 8 1/4. Another guy said it was a dana44. My axle is labled c205.Which is it?

I believe the 1500's are made by american axle, and the hd's have dana's. It looks like the front differential is 8 1/4" from the sites I have checked.

Thanks djr04. I'm still looking around and found a thread on DTW where somebody said it was an 8 in the front for an 03 qc 1500. I can't imagine it being different from my rc 1500. Yet your reporting 8 1/4. I've been running into this dilemma quite a bit. Looks like I'm gonna be forcing myself to call the dealer (hate the dealer). Bad thing is my parts are in, spicer 706017-5x. Haven't found a translation for that yet. The speed shop I got them from seem to know what they are talking about, but every time I see a gear thread I always check to see what people are doing. Then I start having doubts......

205 mm = 8.07 inches=

8" front differential

Alot of Jeep Cherokee's have the 8.25 up front.
