I broke down and bought one, yes you need the $3.00 gasket too.
It fixed all the problems I was having. The Part was $65.00 and gasket around $3.00
I'm in Maine and the Dealer said I was lucky, He only had one, and that the rest of the state
was on back order 6 weeks or more for thr 5.7 motors.
Dealer said it was a real common Issue among the newer cars and trucks, but Dodge wont recall for some reason.
( I Think there making money off Thier broken parts!!!)
P.S. Took mine off and cleaned it, Then I got thinking, if this is a problem I'm going to have again, an extra one wont be bad to have on hand. ( I didn't try the old one to see if it worked though)
