Exactly Yellow. I love my hemi as well but nothing in the truck world touches a diesel.....Especially a cummins. My girlfriends dad is a devout Ford guy and always buys ford trucks but he said if he ever bought a deisel it would be a Cummins, he says the powerbroke is a POS so evn Ford guys know that.

I had very similar feelings to Cyclone429
when I bought my 1995 Ram and saw the
(then) additional cost of $3500 for the Cummins engine
but now, 12 years later, there is no doubt
that used 1995 Rams with the Cummins sell for more
than $5000 than a similar condition gasoline Ram.
I would also point out that I have been taking my 76 yr old mother
to a very well off Orthopedic Doctor for treatment the last few months.
I noticed this highly skilled and intelligent MD, who is in his fifties, drove a white 2nd Gen Cummins Ram 2500 from the late 1990s. I asked him why.
He told me, "I gave up my Mercedes SL and started driving a Cummins Ram several years ago after seeing terribly injured patients in the ER who had been hit by pickup trucks, and seeing lightly injured patients who had been in pickup trucks hit by cars. I know how hard it is for human bodies to heal, especially older ones like mine. This is my second diesel Ram with about 120,000 on it. My previous blue Cummins Ram that I still own has 290,000 miles on it."

This is way i love big rigs , with a full family safety is a big one in my life .My sister and bro in-law had their life saved by a big suburban and if they were in a car that would of been it.sorry of topic.

i dont think you could compare the two trucks, because they have their obvious differences! if your doing farm work or other serious hauling then go with the CTD. and if you are just a daily driver with an ocasional tow. ie taking the boat to the lake or hauling some fourwheelers around then the HEMI is the way to go!!
