Default Oil filter-don't buy fram

I've been buying fram PH-8 for years on my dodges and PH-16 if the others were too long. After reading this study of different types of the same filter as PH-8 (for fords) I am throwing out my frams on my shelf and buying from NAPA or even AC Delco.
Check the link. http://minimopar.knizefamily.net/oilfilterstudy.html

Interesting study. Just out of curiosity, are they planning a study on K&N?
You'd figure that after spending your hard earned money on a filter, they would at least make sure that it was contructed right...

Does anyone know which oil filter is best? And i don't mean your personal opinion. I'm talking about the end result of serious testing, to come to the final conclusion.

Yeah, you'd think, but this is the case with pretty much everything, it's just knowing who's good and who is. Who really being what.

I'm pretty sure I've heard before that test results have proven that WIX is the best.

From the studies I've read, NAPA Gold (aka wix) are the best filters to use. The k&n and mobil 1 filters are supposed to be quite good as well. Fram from what I understand lacks a good filtration efficiency of small particles, unless you get the HP1 racing filter, which is supposed to be a fairly good filter.

It's interesting what you can find, when doing searches on oil, and oil filters. This guy clearly lists what are the best, and downward.
I don't know if this is his opinion, or if he actually did a test himself. But, it's still informative to say the least.
