Sorry second thread I've started on exhaust for the 4.7 but I've visited some shops and decided on the Flowmaster 50 series. Anyone have experience or knowledge as to whether the Delta flow or SUV is better for the 4.7? Thanks

well, tailgate, i noticed you have a HEMI from 06... i assume it has MDS... so do you like your 50 series with the MDS or what? is it THAT noticeable when the MDS kicks in?

 

well if your one of those guys like me thats "IN LOVE" with your truck your going to hear it cause i know i do. no one else that rides in my truck says anything abou it though? i got it done a week ago and its not a big deal to me anymore (im used to it) i went with the 50 because its less noise in the cab. i would suggest whatever muffler you get or set up you do, just make sure its low in-cab noise, because yes your going to be able to tell when the mds kicks on and off. i am happy with my exhaust.

 

You may also want to look at the 50 Series HD. Supposedly, these are designed specifically for engines like the Hemi. I thnk I'll be getting these, I just need to decide whether I will take out both resonators or just one. Keep us posted on what you decide and how it turns out.

 

i just put the entire flowmaster kit with the 50 suv series. sounded amazing! ive had super 40s and regular 40s on another car.. and i fell in love with my rams exhaust. same engine, '02. you wont be dissapointed.
