Atlantic I know you do not have a 5.7 liter but a large amount of hemi guys running the GS kit have lost motors. The GS kit is really the only kit for our motors right now but alot of guys have had real bad luck with it.

all iam trying to say is that the fight over turbo vs. supercharger will always be there and i know opinions are like ******** everybody has one but to listen to people go back and forth over which one is better is just ridiculous. you either like one of them or both personally i like both ilike the supercharger on my truck and a turbo on my car would be great. i just get tired of every couple of weeks i see people fighting about this on some forum. if some one says its a stupid idea who cares do it any way and prove them wrong. i was told that i couldnt run a high 9 second quarter mile in my mustang on the stock crank but i did ( crank blew to pieces at the finish line ) but i still did it. NOW TO THE PEOPLE I PISSED OFF WITH THE IMPORT TUNER COMMENT I AM SORRY. Like i said i am just tired of hearing this fight.

Then don't open the link, pretty easy huh? I like both all I was saying is that turbos are showing the greatest reliable gain for the hemi ram. I wasn't saying the turbo is the end all be all, just that they are doing better on hemi rams than superchargers are.

No, a single turbo and a built tranny is more than enough.

I agree with Kenni,
Twins would be a waste of space and much harder to balance over all, not to mention all the custom exhaust that would have to be built and the piggyback PCM to control it all. If your going to invest that kind of money, why not build a real STROKER engine with a lot better and tougher ring lands so you don't grenade the guts the first time you over rev it, or screw up the fuel map and lean it out. When you start out right in the beginning, you finish right in the end, first design the project, figure out how much it costs, add 20% to that, then build it!!!!!

NOW YOU'VE GOT A REAL BAD-*** MACHINE THAT VERY FEW COULD TOUCH!!

Why twins?

A single turbo will make more power than these motors can handle.

new to this thing, and am wondering as to the strength of a "05 4.7 and will a turbo blow the lower end. I am serious about this, but the new motors are beyond my knowledge, the latest I ever worked on was an "84, and those old motors ("70 440s and such) were bullit proof.
