Lately, I have been noticing that when I get in my truck for the first time, and put it in gear, the engine sounds like it is struggling a bit. Kinda like the noise you hear if you are in Neutral and gun it to about 2000 - 2500 RPMs, real blowy-like.

Anyone experience this? Is there some sort of TSB for transmission in the 07's? Thanks for any help.

 

Sure it's not the fan clutch? Mine makes that sort of sound upon first starting it; not all the time, just sometimes.

 

Sounds like the fan to me as well.

If it is the fan, is it normal? Am I just being overly paranoid?
