MDS isn't worth the hassle of itself, not in Ram's in my opinion.

I have the 50 series HD muffler with the single in and duel outs and it sounds awesome. It has a deep tone to it and gets its loudest at about 2000 to 2500 rpm.

I have the 50 series SUV on my Hemi Mega-Cab. Sounds great. Not too loud in the Cab. Left the front resonator on and took the rear resonator off. I highly recommend this set up

I had the Super 40 on my '04 & I have the 50HD on my '07, both with dual outs.

The40 ismuch louder than the 50,and the MDS definitely affects the sound in a negative way.

I wish you could de-select it without disabling the overdrive. Someone didn't think this through.

Is the 40 series obnoxiously loud? My dad is looking for a new muffler, I want his truck to be loud. Just not deafening... you think for an 04 2500 Hemi it'd be good? S/IN S/OUT 3" piping?

i have the 50series flowmaster on my truck and i love it, if you want to have it toned down a little leave the front resonator on. i took both of mine off though. i really like the sound of it. nice and deep not too loud though
