Default Flowmaster 50 Series HD ?? Yes? No?

Just looking for some feedback on this muffler. I have an '03 Ram 2500 w/ the Hemi. I have a k&n air intake and the motor itself is pretty loud. Just wondering if anyone has this set-up or just the muffler itself. I want a deep tone....not real loud. Thinking about just running a turn-down. Not all into the dual exhaust tips look. Thanks all.

I have a lot of good things about the Flowmaster 50 series, so I'd advise it.

i know for a fact turn downs are much louder than full pipes. i have a 50 series on my 4.7 liter, sounds great. quieter idle, sounds perfect when u step on it.

I think I have a glaspack or something, it gets really loud and vibrates right around 1800 RPM (with not much definition), above that it isn't as annoying sounding and below that you can't hear it much more than stock.

Well, the Flowmaster 50 might not sound great, but I don't think it would really sound bad on the MDS Hemi's. Only one way to know for sure.

For us with MDS, I think the Flows 50 series HD with the front reso left on will sound okay. I heard it on one at the dealership. Sounded great. Even rode in it and didn't hear too much interior drone. It's what 'll be doing.
