Default New look for the dodge

I was on DTR a few weeks ago and saw a couple dodges with the factory aluminum wheels that they had sandblasted and powder coated black. Ever since then I have been wanting to do the same but I had the chrome wheels. So I started looking for the aluminum ones and they were like $400. So I got to looking at my wheels and the chrome was just a skin over the black wheels. So the other day I pulled the chrome part off. It ended up taking about a hour to get them off because the damn thing were glued on there. I think it looks pretty good. I am still gonna end up getting them sandblasted and powder coated black because they are all scratched up from scraping the glue off and prying the chrome skin off.

Maybe if the center hub was also black or at least smaller chromeit would look better. Doesn't do the rest of that nice truck justice...takes away from its looks imo.

Speaking of which, where did you get those headlights. They look great! And the wheels look really good too! I like how you through in a picture of your mud toy at the bottom! Looks like fun.

I got the headlights and grille from a friend of mine. He traded in his truck for a '07 and couldnt use them so we swapped them over to mine. I am pretty sure they both came from ebay though.
