Anybody else getting any rust on their rear bumper. Mine is got surface ruat on both bottom corners.
Also I am getting a brownish looking liquid coming out of the center piece of my rims when I wash my truck any ideas what this could be.

The brown liquid is probably brake dust mixed with water.

well, like cmnspwr said, the wheels are brake dust. i dunno how you have it so soon though... my old 06 had it, but that started just before i traded it in when it was at 18k miles and 10 months along... my moms C-RV never had it yet and its an 05 with about 34k on it... weird. take the bumper prob to the dealer. there are specialists for new vehicles. i think that they are called "New Vehicle Specialists" or something along that line...

Just use a good cleaner wax like Zymol and wax your bumper.

I know what you mean todb.

I got to do a good wash for the first time to get the Upstate NY salt and grime off and there it was. Real shady plateing job, the edges where it wraps around thebox on both sides. It's not just an elbow grease thing, there isminimal plating on the edges, and i've only had it a little over 6months. Time for a trip to the dealer, unacceptable, but so far my only disappointment.

Rust on your truck, and you live in FLA? Now thats some BS!

I called the service department after i posted and he said they would look at it and that the had a procedure the would try. So i asked what it was, and he said they would have the detailing department go at it with steel wool and then put some wax on it. So i'm planning on stopping in this weekend to try and get a better response than that. I'm pretty sure I didn't spend what i spent 6 months ago to have some one who doesn't give a crap about my truck go at it with steel wool. Besides, it'sbare metal, the plateing on the edge is gone, wax ain't going to stop schit.
