mygig is finally in
What parts you need.
Lock pick mygig adapter from http://www.coastaletech.com/MYGIG_ADAPTER.htm ($289.00)
Mygig (low speed) (about $500)
Microphone ($ 20)
Nav antenna ($50 on ebay)
Mopar RER mygig Sirius antenna pat # 5064159AD ($25 at the dealership)
After you get all of the parts you are good to go. The first thing I did was to take the radio bezel off and hock the mygig up to make shore you have a low speed mygig. The lock pick is easy to do if you can not hock it up you should just stop living. To hock up the Sirius antenna you need to drop the whole head liner. To take out the seat belts you heed a T50 bit. To take down the head liner you need to take out all the pillars, the coat hangers in the back, the over head light in the front (you can let the light for the back seats on), and then the sun visor an the clips. Once you have the head liner down you can just unplug the wire from the antenna and plug in the new one. If you run it throw the passenger side pillar and throw the dash the antenna wire will be long enough to make it to the mygig. When this is done you can put the head liner back up. Now it is time to cut the old radio bezel to make it fit the mygig, or you could buy the bezel for the rec and you might have to fill some space in. I cut mine with a jig saw and painted black(http://www.cherokeesrt8.com/forums/s...t=17793&page=2 this link is for the bezel cut outs). All most forgot the Nav antenna, I put mine in the speaker cut outs and works great. Once that’s done you just plug every thing in to the mygig and put the bezel back on. If you got one out of a Chrysler like I did do not worry, it will not say it will change to dodge.

i like it hmm i wonder if they make a general extension for the sirius antennas. my sirius box is by the glovebox and the antenna plugs in there. and on the mygig it appears that the antenna just plugs right in to the mygig. rather just extend it than have to install a new antenna on the roof.
