Weird how they put 08's and 09's together...did they change the wipe module in 08?

I just had my wiper module, which I am assuming means wiper motor, replaced on my '08 because my wipers would not work when the temp dropped below 40 degrees. I wonder if my truck will fall under the recall notice.

LMAO. Only idiots would. I rarley ever use my wiper blades. Only to clean my winshield off and that's it. i never use them in a heavy rainstorm. I use the RainX de-icer all year round and i constantly clean my winshield with glass cleaner. Ohh how the rain just beads right up. I can see better than my wifes car with wipers full blast.

I'll have to see if i already have the vented motor case. I'd only go to the dealership iif and when it does go, maybe. i might just do it myself. i hate mechanics touching my vehicles. they never put stuff back the way it should be. They always break tabs, strip bolts, lean against the side of your truck and scratch it, rest wrenches on the wiper cowl or windshield wiper and then they fall down the side of your car. Nope. Not this guy. I hate those buggers.

I looked my vin up on the Dodge website. No recalls. I guess it is for very late 08's. I bought mine in May 08.

I did the same, and I also bought mine in May (who knows how long it was on the lot though), but I'm going to check back again every so often. They might have just not put it into the system yet, especially since the recall notes that they have not determined the schedule for contacting owners.

I called the dealer on Saturday to set up an appt for the recall and they said they would not set the appt until I got notified by mail about the recall. Is this standard procedure or are they just being lazy?
