PICS!! My ipod integration is better than yours
I find it easier to do everything with the seat out.

this is a good time to clean ur carpet well!!

i fished the "iplug box" under the carpet so they will come out under the seat

i drilled a hole in the top of a cap that is used for the cig-lighter in the laramie. and fished the cable through it and out the back of the center seat back so you cannot see it

here it is connected to my iPod

and the "iPlug Box" mounted to the tool bucket behind the seats. alows for aux hookups as well

All done

sony x-plode 6x9s and 5" rear. one downward facing 10" polk that sounds better with the windows down than my friends 3 12" kickers because it is downward facing and is in a reg cab truck. and a dual xdvd83 head unit with bluetooth and all that good stuff. pretty sound system. but im looking at a new 12" kicker that will go under the middle seat and a 600watt amp. right now im running 400watts to the sub and 200 wats to the speakers.
ya seriously. for now im just buying cheep-o 10s till they blow up every few months till i spend some serious money on one when finish my middle seat enclosure.
and yes it is a lot of work for an iPod plug. but i enjoy DIYing some custom things into my truck. ha. but that's probably just me
