Well this definitely is the worst post I've had to make on this board. Going home from work last night a drunk driver ran a red light and T-Boned me in the driver's side. She never even took her foot off the gas, even after she hit me, tried to keep driving, but luckily a highway patrolman saw the whole thing and took off after her (Even though her car wasn't going to make it much further). All-in-all I'd say my truck took it like a champ and kept me safe inside. My left side is bruised up from my shoulder to my foot from hitting the door, but nothing broken and was able to climb out of the truck on my own power (Passenger side obviously).

Things that are obviously damaged:
Driverside front quarter-panel, both doors, the entire bed is destroyed, even twisted and contorted the passenger side, pierced gas tank, my instrument cluster wasn't working right when I drove it off the scene, and the frame looks bent up underneath the back of the cab and bed.

The guy that towed it in, I talked to him today (he also runs a body shop) and he said there's a good chance they will total loss it, but we'll see.

My heart just dropped when I read this. I saw the title and though whose the author and then I just died inside. Such a beatiful truck with new cut-outs and some bitch has to drive drunk and risk people's lives. I hope insurance don't decide to total it, I wanna see how effed up that car is though. Glad to hear you were able to walk away without any broken bones or anything just a few bruises. If insurance does total it I'm sorry to say they won't give ya what it's worth but you can always get another one. Who knows you might be able to get an 09?

 

wow man that is a sad story im sorry for the loss of your truck but i am gald to hear you are ok bruises will heal pretty fast but it still sucks i hope everything turns out ok.....

 

Oh that sucks man, first and for most I am glad to hear you walked away from it and that, minus a few bruises, you are alright. I am sorry for your truck too but when it comes down to it it can be replaced, you cant.

Yeah man completely blows.... It amazing to me why marijuana is illegal yet alcohol isnt lol effed up world we live it a pot head would of never hit you!!!! But hey ur safe and hemis are replaceable brother... looks like a good reason to get a 2010 hemi!!!!
