Putting another Trial on the CST lift.
This time the offroading wasn't as dangerous in terms of going up a mountain, but it was MUCH more difficult.
Basically, I recommend the CST lift to everyone now. It surprises me and my friends everytime i take the truck off the pavement.
We went to an area called beamont this time.
Again, it was night time so the pictures were basically impossible on my camera phone.
These trails were built for dirtbikes and quads, but were juuuust wide enough for my truck to fit on.
It was general berming and sliding around until we got to the hilly part of the trail.
this drop was very steep, we had to get out of the truck to check it out and make sure that we could even make it down.
as soon as i start dropping my friend says STOP STOP! HUGE RUT! I didnt listen and had the nose of the truck basically facing almost straight down for the split second i was in the rut. The suspension took it beautifully.
we almost got stuck a couple times in some ruts but a couple taps of the gas fixed that.
At the end of that trail we ran into some hills which were basically impossible to descend (End of the trail) and were basically forced to go up the hill that had the rut in it. straight to first gear and going as fast as possible in that gear, we made it straight back up the hill.
A few beers and some vodka shots later I start to try some wall climbs.
these walls were at LEAST 45 degrees. My friends were ****ting their pants along with me as the truck FELT liek it was going to roll over but just kept along the wall very well.
Basically, I cannot be happier with the suspension upgrade.
Total cost was aout 1900 WITH installation, but it feels like its just that right height now. The shocks feel great as well, Don't get the CST lift without the CST shocks.
Keep in mind i have an open differential on STOCK tires and rims. There's something magical about that lift.

why so harsh bud?? Around here no 4x4in starts without a few beers or wiskeys..... then a beer in the cupholder when we are 4x4in and then when the 4x4in is done we pull the guns out and start shootin **** in old farm yards haha now thats a fun time!!
I'm going to ocotillo wells this weekend and i'll get pictures, I left my digicam at home 6 hours north of me and i've been in southern california for almost a month now all i have is a camera phone which doesn't want to take a picture of anything. We want to do a daytrip next time, so i'll get pictures of the performance.
Also, with the drinking. The worst that would've happened to me in beamont is me flipping my truck over. and a POSSIBLE totalling of the vehicle because some of those hills are super steep.
I wouldn't drink on main divide trail or anything else that has a serious drop on the other side.

the cst 7 inch lift is around 1200 just for the left then an extra 400 bucks for the cst shocks so a total of 1600 but seeing yuo have a 4x4 it nots compatable because the cst left is for 2wd's
Brokenpath, post up some pics of your truck bro, I have 3" coils on my 2wd right now, and I'm ordering 4" lift spindles so it will basically be exactly like your 7" CST lift, and I want to see what it looks like.
