Default superchip 3865

Decided 100% now that the next mod i'm going to get would be a superchip, as always, I have a few questions though ..

1) How can I set my trucks computer back to stock?
I've heard from many experienced ram owners that the rams computer will know and remember when you have a chip on it, but there is a way too clear this. I have to know how to do this before i buy the chip because i don't want my warrenty getting voided when i go in for checkups

2) How exactly do I tune my truck to specific settings?
I've read around the site ... mostly I see that you have to update the chip using a program found on superchips website, but ... i looked on there and could not find it.

3) I've read nothing but positive feedback from the chip, anyone have any negative?
If so, why?

4) any other tips comments suggests would be great

You return it to stock the same way you install a tune on it. I wouldnt bother with any of the tunes except the 91 Performance, youll see the most power gains there.

It's by truck gear direct on eBay. I'm not discouraging you from superchips, it does give you some extra horses I'm just saying 91 or 87 made no difference for me. I'm gonna try stacking superchips with sct. Superchips for the shift points and sct for tuning.

Michael,
What truck do you have? The only negetive I see with SC tuner is with the 03 models not being able to utilize trans upgrades. But I would still buy the SC3865 just for the ease of use and the kick in the pants it gave my engine.

When tuning there is an option that is return to stock, simple choose that and let it load the stock tune back on the Computer

When you plug the SC in it will prompt you to change the power level, this is where you choose 91 (best IMHO) and then you can change the specifics like shift points rev limiter and speed limiter. Then choose load onto vehicle and wait for it to tune the truck

-That the 03's aren't going to be supported when the New transmission features come out.
-The 4.7's are going to have a later release date than the 5.7's on the new tranny feature.
-They wont open it up to do CRM tuning (fully customizable)
-And that they don't support 3.7 Rams.
