Default Right EVIC at last

So at long last I finally found the right EVIC (p/n 56045574AE) for a 2003 Ram. Beautimous! So much better than the original OTIS. Took me awhile to find this one.






Sorry for the last crappy pic, it was getting dark. Hopefully I'll have better ones for all the cool options on this thing.

The part number was easy to find, just pull it out of the parts manual. The hard part was all the searching (without paying like $400 from a dealer). For the differences between the OTIS and EVIC, look here, it's a pretty good explanation.

Mine doesn't have the remote buttons, but does have miles to empty.

You 06-08 guys get a totally different module. A side benefit of the CAN-bus is you can install a MyGig (I so want one). We 02-05 guys can't.

How hard is that too install? Can i do it on a 2005?
